Corporate and Organizational Consulting
Are you and your team facing challenges that impact you moving forward with your goals?
Is there tension between individuals that is not being addressed?
When confronted, is it easier to just say “everything is fine” rather than getting uncomfortable?
Good news. I help work teams and organizations move through their struggles so they can be more productive and achieve new heights.
I regularly see how these key factors can impact you and your team’s ability to function at your highest level:
- Relational issues of trust
- Unmet expectations
- Individual team member’s own fears
When you and your team members get activated emotionally, you can behave in ways that obstruct genuine connection… a necessary component for healthy teams.
Without trust, your group may end up working in silos or to have sidebar conversations that only fuel existing conflict and ill feelings toward colleagues.
When your team leads with confidence, strength and engages in difficult conversations rather than avoiding them, you will experience a reduction in anxiety and tension and an increase in working collaboratively toward your desired outcomes.
Testimonials From Some of My Recent Work
The facilitated sessions our team had with Gina, were well planned, interactive for all personalities, relevant scenarios to our industry and the types of interactions we were encountering in our day-to-day work. The sessions incited curiosity around self improvement, being a better colleague, leader, and person! The outcomes with our team are visible and gave us a common language to build trust. Gina did a wonderful job and I hope we can continue to work with her in the future!
We engaged Gina Nelson for team building activities. Our goals were to build trust, explore individual vulnerabilities, learn how to communicate effectively and authentically, as well as examine both individual and team values. Gina was thoughtful and inviting in how she adapted to individual personalities coupled with our goals in building the team chemistry. She used a strategy and approach that progressed and built synergy with each session. We use what we learned individually and as a team on a regular if not daily basis. I’d highly recommend utilizing Gina Nelson and her team building skills.
I had the pleasure of working with Gina on a series of workshops with my newly formed team to identify personal values, shame triggers, and trust building. Gina was an excellent facilitator and used role playing, team discussion, individual coaching, and instruction to deliver on the engagement objectives. Gina was well prepared and an excellent communicator. Her work advanced us forward as a team and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to develop the human side of their work.
Gina’s leadership, encouragement and personalized sessions for our team were instrumental in opening our collective capabilities for collaboration, critical-thinking, reflection, and thoughtful listening. While we started with a baseline of respect and good intentions, we learned to be more open-minded, conscious of our biases and narratives, and considerate. Together we are creating new products/services and models, and without Gina’s assistance we’d be struggling to articulate our vision and implement and test our ideas.
